And how do they pay me?

How does Google Adsence pay me?
The advertiser (the people behind the particular Adsense advert) pay Google and Google pay you a small part of that. Adense tell you how much you are earning each click daily. I think you have to have so much accumulated befor they pay you ($50??) but otherwise you can get a cheque each month. Don%26#039;t get too excited it may not be much. Also just think you are sending visitors away from your site to another site, and Google are getting the bulk of the money.
How does Google Adsence pay me?
If somebody click on the google ads (adds by google), then google will pay to the publisher a percentage of their earnings.
Reply:i used to us Adsence and they record the amount of people who have clicked on the adverts. then they pay you about $0.01 a click. when you have accumulated a decent amount of money they will wire it to your pay pal account.

However, Adsence will hardly make you rich but if you sign up to Bidvertiser.com%26#039;s referral program you can make a fortune. i made $41 in a week. which is quite good for doing and nothing and using tripod so i don%26#039;t have to pay to publish my site.
Reply:Google adsense,is a really great programme, first of all the basic thing is that u have a blog or a site where u will be placing this google ads...........if you can get a good web trafficing system them for every click made on each ad by a visitor you get paid and also try to boost site traffic in order to boost your page impression, for more information you can check www.pubcity.blogspot.com and there are also ways we exchange clicks free with google adsense members in yahoo messenger
Reply:Google AdSense is an ad serving program run by Google. Website owners can enroll in this program to enable text, image and, more recently, video advertisements on their sites. These ads are administered by Google and generate revenue on either a per-click or per-thousand-impressions basis. Google is also currently beta-testing a cost-per-action based service.

How AdSense works

* To put ads on a web page, the webmaster inserts JavaScript code into the page.

* Each time a page with an AdSense tag is visited, the JavaScript creates an iframe and sets its %26quot;src%26quot; attribute to the page%26#039;s URL.

* For contextual advertisements, Google%26#039;s servers use a cache of the page to determine a set of high-value keywords. If keywords have been cached already, ads are served for those keywords based on the AdWords bidding system. More details are described in the AdSense patent.

* For site-targeted ads, the advertiser chooses the page(s) to display ads on and pays based on CPM (cost-per-thousand-impressions, or the price advertisers choose to pay for every thousand ads displayed).[10] [11]

* For referrals, Google adds money to the advertiser%26#039;s account when visitors either download the referred software or subscribe to the referred service.[12]

* Search ads are added to the list of results after a user performs a search.

* Since the JavaScript is sent to the web browser when the page is requested, it is possible for other site owners to copy the JavaScript into their own web pages. To protect against this type of fraud, AdSense customers can specify the pages on which ads should be shown. AdSense then ignores clicks from pages other than those specified.

Some webmasters work hard to maximize their own AdSense income. They do this in three ways:

1. They use a wide range of traffic generating techniques including but not limited to online advertising.

2. They build valuable content on their sites which attracts AdSense ads which pay out the most when they get clicked.

3. They use copy on their websites that encourage clicks on ads. Note that Google prohibits people from using phrases like %26quot;Click on my AdSense ads%26quot; to increase click rates. Phrases accepted are %26quot;Sponsored Links%26quot; and %26quot;Advertisements%26quot;.

The source of all AdSense income is the AdWords program which in turn has a complex pricing model based on a Vickrey second price auction, in that it commands an advertiser to submit a sealed bid (not observable by competitors). Additionally, for any given click received, advertisers only pay one bid increment above the second-highest bid.

Reply:Hi,

I have a lot of experience marketing small companies online (I have 3 companies). One of the best ways is to sign up at business directories and protals. These are basically listings of businesses (simliar to the phone book). The advantage is that these portals usually get a lot of traffic and they%26#039;re ranked high on Google because of all the quality links they contain.

My favorite portal is called Directory Exclusive. I signed up a few weeks ago because they%26#039;re giving a away a free business card holder when a person enter%26#039;s their company info. I received it in the mail 3 days ago =)

I don%26#039;t know if they still have that promotion, but you can try to get the free card holder here:

Good Luck

  1. In case you are interested in generating money from your traffic by running popup advertisments - you can embed one of the highest paying companies: ExoClick.
