i get them to repeat what the company they are, then tell them to never call back again

I made a fake yawn and said %26quot;no he%26#039;s not%26quot; then slamed the phone back to it%26#039;s reciever
What do you say when telemarketers call?
They will say %26quot;Hi im bla bla from bla are you interested in bla bla%26quot; then you say no and say BYE!!!!
Reply:i hang up but you can also just say that you are not interested and that you already have what they are offering if you would like to be kind. they expect hang ups. so it is not rude. you can just let go of the call

Reply:I usually keep repeating that I%26#039;m not interested until they get the point. I try not to be rude to them.....because if they had better luck or a choice, they wouldn%26#039;t be doing a crappy job like that.





I kinda feel bad for them.

Reply:I tell them I%26#039;m on the Do Not Call list (which I am) and I will be reporting them.


Or the rules of the List state that people I do business with are still allowed to call. I tell those people if they ever call again I will cancel all business with them.

Reply:i try to keep the phone call going as long as it can, before refusing their claims...it their phone call, and their wasting my time, so i may as well waste their money hehe





oh and sometimes i pretend that im a telemarketer on my side of the call and start asking them questions to piss them off
Reply:start selling something to them, but be more aggressive. Go until they hang up on you.
Reply:I ask them what steps do I need to take to have their company cease and desist from calling my number.





Most will just accept a verbal request and I never hear from them again.
Reply:pretend u are dead.. play opossoum! jk. uh.. just tell them your not interested and no thank you and hang up even if they are in a middle of a sentence and if they call back dont answer and if u donnt kno it gonna be them get caller id this is a new generation u kno
Reply:Depends. Most days I just say I%26#039;m not interested and hang up the phone. This one company called Adirondack Deck Company keeps calling us, even though we asked them to take us off of their list. When they call, I just echo them until the person on the other end hangs up.

Reply:I tell them that the person that they are looking for is in Madagascar, or tell them that the person they are looking for is taking a poop. Works like a charm =]

Now, I used to do that...now I just say %26quot;Not interested%26quot; and hang up.
Reply:Haha, Half way through their little speil, just cut in and try and sell them something back. but make it something obsence and funny for you, like a vibrator or something=)
Reply:well since it costs them to make phone calls just play along with it and their money goes down because ur talking to them the longer u talk the more money they waste
Reply:Entertain them while theyre on the phone. And in the middle of their spiel, just hang up. They cant get angry or anything cause they get it all the time. In the end, you save your hard earned money and they dont make some phony sale. :-D

When busy, I will say call later and hang up.

I always think-ok fine...after all they are doing there job, like we are doing right now. Now it has become a habit of attending such calls.
